INAGURATION DAY

Today my girls and I watched as the 44th President, Barack Obama was sworn in as the next President of the United States of America. I had to snap this picture it was so cute and I want them to remember this day. We are so sad to see President Bush go, I actually cried when he and his wife got on the helicopter. Show us what you can do President Obama!!??!?!

So cute! I made my kids watch it too. It was neat. Obama will have to prove himself to me, but I do think he is a very educated classy man. So lets cross our fingers!!

That picture is priceless!!! One day when they are in high school and their teacher starts to tell them about the historic event of the first black president taking office they will be able to look back at this picture and remember a small glimpse about that day. I love that you took that picture!!

I'd start to say thanks for everything again but I'd probably start to cry and I don't want to smear the mascara all over my face. Not a pretty sight. About as pretty as I have looked the last few days on my deathbed :) Thanks again!! Your the best!

Way to start your girls off early in learning about our country!! Even though our economy is in toilet right now, we are still so blessed to live in the good old USA! I am giving Pres. Obama my support! Let's see what he can do, and let's see what WE can do!

That is a great picture! I watched it also and was impressed with our new Prez. I hope he can clean up the mess we are in right now. Only time will tell!

That is so adorable Tara! Your girls are seriously too cute and so fun to be around. I love how interested they are in it. I can't believe how interested I was in it. I was so sad when the Bush's left too, it was weird.

That's funny, I made my boys watch it too! Now I wish I would have taken a picture. I got emotional when Bush left too, I felt sad for him and his wife. I'm with you though, let's see what Obama can do - hopefully good things.
